Dog Sitting

This weekend we watched our friend James' dog, Emma.  She is a cockapoo and is adorable!  Bear had a blast with her, but she definitely has a lot more energy than him.  He's going on 8 and she's about 1 or so.  He could keep up for awhile, but he would just crash afterwards.  I got some good pictures of them playing in the backyard.

Josie on the other hand, hated Emma.  She actually was able to put Emma in her place.  Josie looked like a Halloween cat whenever Emma came around.  She growled and hissed at Emma and Emma was actually quite afraid of her.  It was kind of funny to watch.

If we weren't having a baby in December, I would be all for getting a dog like Emma, but having a "puppy" and a new baby just would not be doable at this point.

Emma was a bit faster than Bear, but I think if they were closer to the same age, he would have had a better shot at catching her.
